VO Tour - Wagga Wagga

December 22nd - Wagga Wagga

Drove to Wagga Wagga today after packing up camp at Abercrombie Caves.

During the day we passed through Cootarrumdra and visited the birthplace of Don Bradman (89 Adams St). This was a big event for all the family, although I'm sure Chris and I gained the greatest from the experience !

We stopped off at Young and I showed the children Normoyle Crescent - Lesley and Richard's beautiful home in Young. We were staggered to see that the "Ciransel" sign was still hanging from the outdoor garden light. It was a poignant moment.

Shopping and the like made up most of the afternoon, plus some repairs to some of the camping gear, notably, fixing our air mattress.

A great reduction in temperature today and some rain! In fact, so much rain that we decided to spend the night in an overnight van.

It had been a tiring day and we aUfell into bed for some crash time.
