Jetty Tour Day 31 - Dubbo

Just a big fat rest day in order to give Sue's back a break before the final push home.

In the morning we found what must be the best cafe in town, the Dahab Cafe. Everything about the place was perfect and gave it one of my few 5 star ratings on Trip Advisor.

From there, it was off to the former Dubbo High School and the Western Plains Cultural Centre. Sensational use of space and marriage of old architecture and new. The centre is home to an excellet art space and an even better museum, where less is more. The current exhibitions in the art space were outstanding.

Home for lunch and a Facetime with the Tamworth grandchildren. They are such a delight.

In the afternoon, we went to a shopping centre for groceries. They are the same everywhere: noisy, full of kids disagreeing with their parents and lonely people.
